Mind Freak SHIP's DA WHIP!

Today my poker game was on point, as I just owned this mutt heads up. This session finally got me over the hill I have not been able to get over for a while now. I'm playing good, feeling good and it is finally paying off again. I will leave the hand history of the hand that ended the MUTT!

WOW back to back BIG wins!

Finally I think I have gotten over the sickest run of my life. I picked up 3.5 racks today and I am finally remembering what its like to win more than one session in a row without a big loss. I must say it feels really good as well. It is weird how many times I can get all in with the best hand and lose, but for some reason the best hand is holding up again and the dollars are plowing back in like they should. I have been mixing up heads up with 6max sessions to keep the rake coming in. I can only hope the cards can stay this way at least long enough to repair some damage that my bad run did to my bankroll and when that bad run comes again I will notice it earlier and lower limits before I do so much damage. I guess if this career was easy everyone would do it, but it is far from easy. If we only knew when we were going to run bad it would make it so much easier. However the good times and the things that we get to do are like no other profession so I will keep pluggin away and grindin. We will be checking out Valley Scare tomorrow as we are making it yearly tradition now to go. I love haunted houses!

6 RACK WIN and sick BDAY PARTY!

Finally the best hands are holding up like they should and I picked up a sweet 6 rack win. I was not sure if it was ever going turn around how horrible these last 2 months have been, but I think im ready to break through again and go on a nice little run. 9 racks in last 2 sessions is definitely a sweet start to operation to poker career around. Well anyways enough about poker because last night was flicking awesome. It was great to get my old crew with my new crew for a celebration. I also must give a congrats to Kelle and Chris Detox #21 on there engagement. You guys are awesome and look forward to many more nights like last night. Heres some sweet pics of the night!

Mind Freaks B-Day BASH with AUDRINA!

So my bday is tomorrow and we are straight balling out of control. We will be renting a 18 passenger Hummer Limo and getting VIP bottle service at club Aqua. If that isn't enough, Audrina from the reality tv show The Hillls will be the VIP host for the night. It is also going to be sweet as I have a few boys from my home town coming up to join us in the celebration.

Detox League Champs and 3rd in state tourney!

Well my softball team DETOX just finished our season and won the league title in our first year together. This felt really good as poker has been going so bad it is definitely nice to pick up some wins other places and be away from the computer. Softball is a great escape from poker. We also had our state tournament this weekend and we ended up getting 3rd while scoring the most runs of any team in the tournament. On a personal note I was sizzling hot as I went 15-18 in the tournament. It does suck that we have been so hot as of late and the season is over. On the flip side this is a great way to end the season and something to build off at the start of next season.

Just what the DR. Ordered

To say I am running bad is just a understatement at this point. I don't even know how to explain what is going on its so rediculous. "A frozen way of cards you fucking read about" is what Worm aka Ed Norten would call it. I however think its even worse than that. It just doesn't seem to matter if I play heads up or full ring or 6max games I just lose. So today I knocked out a nice little half rack win in the 12 nl 6m games and was about to call it a night when I decided to play a little 24 nl hu. It didn't take long and a guy sat down and just raised every flop and bet pot on every flop turn and river. This would be easy pickens if I could ever make a pair, however it would never be that easy and fell down a buy in instantly and almost blew my whole days profit in 15 min. I decided to reload and take another crack at him and I ended up getting it back and busting him. He then reloaded and instantly went on the sickest heater vs me. I would flop 2 pair and he wud either turn 2 bigger pair or a set. At one point I lost 78 on a 782 flop to 102 and A7 on a a74 flop to 55. Both pots were over a rack each in 24 which is huge and the lost one felting me again and leaving him with 1800 at the table. I smacked my laptop and thought about calling it a night. However I refocused and reloaded and said I am going to beat his ass. I finally ran like a GOD and picked up monster after monster as he bluffed off all 2k to me. It was pretty amazing. It felt so good to see the best hand win I cant even explain. He then actually reloaded after I felted him which is sick that he would blow 1800 and then insta reload but I said ok I have a huge edge on him and now I have a big stack vs a small stack as he wouldnt be able to push me around. Also these situations dont come around often so you must take advantage of them when you can. So I almost insta stack him and he reloads again and I stack him again and he reloads again and I stack him again. This went on and on as he would reload for 4 and then 2.4 for whatever reason I have no idea. However I was not complaining. Anyways I ended up with what I think is the most ive ever seen on a 24 nl table. This was just what the Dr. ordered as hopefully this is the start of a huge turn around.
