UCONN 5-0 and 23rd in Poll!

We are back from Louisville and I must say it was a blast. Congrats to UCONN for remaining perfect as they upset Louisville. It was a pleasure to meet Tyler and the Lorenzen Family. Tyler I wish you a speedy recovery, and look forward to seeing you on the field again. I must give a shot out to Jordan and Nicole Atchison for bringing us along and letting us be apart of such a cool experience. Also if you if you are a hot dog fan and would like to try a dog with less calaries you must check out Jerry Lorenzen's Bratos, they are amazing. You can pick them up from World Food Processing.
Be prepared to see #34 Don Brown on Sundays in the NFL, as he is no doubt the best running back in college football right now. This guy is just sick wit it. I could go on and on about how cool this trip was but I will just post some pictures and save the typing.

Off to Kentucky we go!

Well its finally time to take off for Kentucky and things are on the upside. I have booked 3 big winners in a row which put me back over 10 racks in the account and my Thursday night softball team is a perfect 10-0. We are leaving at 5pm today and driving to Chicago where well stay and do some partying. Tomorrow well head to the stadium for tailgating with some of the players family and hopefully fire up a big flip cup game. Then obviously well head in for the big game where Tyler and Huskies will try to remain undefeated as they try to crush some Louisville donks. The game will be nationally televised on ESPN2 so if your chillen at home grinding tomorrow night flip the game on and look for the 2 drunkest rowdiest dudes with UCONN apparel. We should stick out like a sore thumb in the red sea tomorrow in Cardinal Stadium.

Finally back on the Poker God's good side

Some how my hands have been holding up again and I have been able to book some winners. This has allowed me to put a small patch on my much damaged broll. I have finally accepted the fact that it will take months if not this whole year to get back to where I was but thats how this stupid game rolls. When you don't lower limits when your running bad, you really put yourself in a hole that just takes longer and longer to get out of. I went on a sick run and lost focus for only 3 weeks and it cost me big time because in this line of business you can never lose focus. I now have some short term goals that hopefully I can meet that will hopefully allow me to take some shots at the upcoming fall classic in Oct. I will also be done with softball for the year and will really be able to focus on poker and really grind some hands. Congrats to my boys bro in law Tyler and UCONN on a Win against Baylor and the reffs as they fought off 2 horrible calls at the end to still pull out the W. We will be leaving this thursday to cheer them in Louville, KY against Louville next Friday on ESPN. We will be tailgating with the players familys and playing multiple flip cup games! Its nice to know even when poker is going bad you still get to live like a rock star! It makes all those stressfull sessions worth it.

Back on track!

It has been a while since my last post but I have been super busy and really have not had 5 minutes to blog. I have been juggling 3 nights of fall softball and tournaments just about every other weekend. I also had my biggest rake back month of my life last month picking up just over 3.6 racks in rake and 75,000 hands played. I am just under that same pace this month. Fantasy Football also started and I am currently 1-0. Barber and Lynch were my first 2 picks and I am banking on them carrying the squad. The poker Gods have seemed to let my hands hold up a little more and hopefully I can keep booking wins and crushing rake back.
