Back from WSOP and online bashing starts back up!

Yesterday I woke up and there was no pool view from my bedroom, or a hot tub waiting for me to get into before my morning shower nor was there any of the flashing lights of the vegas casinos but I did manage to get a round of golf in and a online poker session. Even after leaving all of that it did feel good to get back home. Nothing better than a welcome home poker session with a 2.3 rack winning session online. I also followed that session up to day with a 2.6 rack winning session. Just under 5 racks in todays is a great feeling. Tomorrow it is back to the club for some limit action so hopefully I can continue the hot streak since being home.

Day off for some pool time and a little HU online tournament!

Yesterday was just amazing here as it was 107 degrees out side so the crew decided spend the day by the pool. Half of the crew's trip came to an end yesterday and flew back to Minneapolis so the rest of us decided it would be sweet to take a day off and chill in the pool and hot tub and play a double elimination HU online tournament. Congrats to Schneids fish as he went over the 100k mark for the trip. You are the man but ur still a fish to me. LOL. Anyways we did a 100 buy in for the hu online tourny. 2hip goes 0-2, jess 1-2, kstam 1-2, and Kato kid and I were heads up in the finals. I was 3-0 and kato kid was 2-1 so he had to beat me twice to win. Obviously he hits a sick 4 out gutter ball to win match won. It was all on the line in the final match. We battled until the blinds were at 50 100 and kato kid raised with the k8 and I shoved with the k7 and he debated and decided to lay it down and that fold gave me a 500 chip lead. A few hands later it was all over when I turned two pair and he turned top pair and we got all the chips in and Mind Freak gets the 2 pair to hold to ship the HU tournament. I then did my victory celebration by belly flopping into our heated pool. Heres some pics of the night.

Todays poker game at the Rio was one of the sickest games of my life. There were more bluffs shown in todays session than any 5 sessions combined I have ever played in. The game was just sick stupid. Hopefully I can continue to play and run as good as I did today and book another sick winner tomorrow.

Mindfreak fades 2000 players in wsop but not good enough!

The day started off rough as I could not get AA to hold up vs a flush draw. I had built up a nice little stack of 5k chips before I lost to the flush on the river bringing me back down to 3k. I grinded for just over 6 hours and faded almost 2000 players when I busted out with 850 players left. It was a ton of fun and I think I really learned a lot from the tournament. This tournament was only my 2nd WSOP event of my career but it is definitely not my last. I will be playing cash games tonight after the crew has a nice steak dinner at Ruth Chris. Oh yeah the crib out here is just sick. Ill post a few pics.

Back from Dallas and 2 poker wins booked!

So Tubbie calls tonight and says lets grab dinner and watch the laker game. Obv this sounds like a great idea so we end up grabbing a nice little steak dinner at outback. After dinner I started a little session online and made just under a rack. I was feeling good so I called the club to see if there was a 30 game going and obv there was so I decided I sneak a session in before heading to vegas. All Day AP was in the game and it was juicy. Im pretty sure I was 6-0 vs AP in pots at showdown and 90% of my profit was from him alone. I obviously quit when AP quit. I was up just under 2.5 racks. I must say it is pretty dam cool to play poker with a Future Hall of Famer. He did have the line of the night though: So its capped pre flop and the flop comes qqq and its bet and AP calls. The turn comes a Q so the board is QQQQ and AP checks and the PR bets and AP asks as serious as he can " do you have a queen"? It was pretty funny. Well tomorrow I will be packing and getting ready for the WSOP as my flight leaves at 9am Thursday morning so there will no poker. I will try to blog as much as possible from Vegas but it is going to be tough to pull me out of my rock water fall pool at our house. Hope to see you all out there crushing donkeys!
