Mission Completed! Shipped a House too!

I finally hit 3 of my 4 goals and I still have a week left in November. Also Kelli and I closed on our first house last night so we are Proud home oweners for the first time! Anywhoo there will be no labor Ready. WEEEEE.
While chasing my goals I had a pretty crazy session Saturday night. I started my session around 6pm sat and played all the way until I went to the vikes game at 11. I then started a session back up directly following the game and continued to play until around 8pm. I then built a closet for my new house and then ended up in bed around 1 am. That put me awake from Sat at 11 until sunday night at 1 am. Crazy crazy life.
I will post some pictures of the new house as soon as we get moved in, which should be in the next couple of days. Poker will obv be taking a back seat to moving into the crib.

Little Update

3 days into week 1 of goals I am currently sitting at the following:
+2100 in the games
3 of 50 in the RT race
15th of 50 in the weekly race
+420 so far in rake

I am obviously way ahead of my goals and is looking like I should have no problem hitting all 4 of them in the first week. Tomorrow will be house stuff and QT with the wifey and Saturday is going to be a madden and Guys night out Drunk fest at smiths so im going to need to be ahead a little bit as this time off will probably even me back out. Anyways I am running very well and shipping whips so it is all good!

A little motivation for NOV!

So I had a pretty sweet little October that was mostly motivated by a couple of rake races that cake had going on and I ended up playing a lot and having a very good month. However my start to November has been a little slow. I did need a little a time off as I played a ton of hands but now its back to the grind. So I got to thinking and I came up with a little motivational idea for the rest of November. The rules are simple I must hit at least 3 of the 4 goals I will list below or I must do 1 day of work at Labor Ready. Now you might be thinking oh that is no big deal I work 5 days a week or that 75% of any goals would be easy to hit. But I must tell you that 1 day of work for a poker player feels like a month of work to anyone else. Also I will have a few obstacles such as it is already the 10th of the month, I close on my house on the 23rd and must get moved in, and it is Thanksgiving on the 26th which will cost me a few days for family time. This should make this month pretty fun and interesting as Im sure most of you will be rooting against me so I have to go through with the day at Labor Ready! However if I do complete this I should make close to 5k in the next 20 days. I will keep my progress posted.
1.Must win and cashout at least 2.5k
2.Must finish in the top 50 of at least 1 weekly race
3.Must finish in the top 5 of the rake tracker 10 day race
4.Must make $700 or more in rake in one of the last 3 weeks

Ship a poker win and Go Yanks tonight!

I booked a quick poker win tonight and called it a night. I really need the yankees to win tonight so please be sweating for me. Im hoping the power of the yanks can get to Pedro early and get into that phils bullpen which is suspect at best.

Melo comes up big!

Today was a grind to say the least. I played roughly 6,000 hands of poker and ended up stuck 400 on the day. I should have picked up a couple hundred in rake so that will help counter the loss on the day. However the yankees evened the series tonight which was a huge win for me. Then I decided I had to get a little dumb and bet on the nuggets getting 7 points at portland tonight when their plane was delayed last night because of a snow storm and didnt get into portland until 4am. However Melo carried the team scoring 41 points and had some very crucial buckets at the end of the game. This win puts me at almost a stone free roll on the yankees to win the series. I will process 3k if the yankees win it so im guessing I will have some hedging decisions coming up in the next few games.

Finally I have really started to sink my teeth back into multi tabling 1/2 NL 6 max. Today's session lasted just 22 minutes and I picked up a 1,000 us dollars. I also picked up some extra loot with a couple of sports bets as I hit the under on the world series game and I also hit big on the nuggets. I could really use the team sweat as I have a very large bet on the yankees to win the series. Lets go AJ!

One sick session! WOWWWWWW!

This session was just sick. I started out playing 10 tables of 12 nl and couldn't get the best hand to hold up one dam time. I would flop a set and get all in and I would lose to not matter what they had. Finally I battled all the back and then as I was ready to call it a night this feeeeesh decided to challenge me HU and I accepted. I will let the hands do the talking for how the session went.
